The cAMP Hunter CXCR4 Gi cell line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. CXCL12/SDF-1α) based activation of CXCR4 GPCR activity via detection of decreasing levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wild type CXCR4, a naturally Gi/Go coupled GPCR. Upon activation of CXCR4, the decrease in levels of intracellular cAMP leads to a decreased signal from EFC when the cAMP detection kit is applied. All RBM's are identical and durable to insure reproducible sections in the day-to-day, year-to-year, or on a between laboratory basis.
Constructed from high grade zinc to allow for rapid temperature equilibration, easy cleaning, and sterilization. The matrices are designed to accommodate the brains of rodents placed ventral side up. The channels are precisely cut at 1 mm intervals and 0.3 mm wide.
